Playing computer games is a lot like playing without a computer. This is the starting point of this workshop. We are going to built a weapon with which we can defend the earth against meteorites. We are going to design them ourselves en come up with a sound. Each of these defense-machines will get a button that links it to the computer. With these weapons we can start the game: all of us use our own weapon to protect the earth against the invaders.

You will play in a team of five, and it is essential to only destroy the meteorites belonging to your weapon. The team that has worked best together, wins.

Pixelations, what your children do, you can do too!
Workshop seniors

Pixelation literally means ‘a bit goofy, crazy’. Pixelation is an old-fashioned animation technique based on loose pictures, the animations that derive from this, are indeed a bit crazy.
In a lively workshop with 15 participants we will make animation-movies where the participants are in the main roles. Attention is guaranteed, we will publish the results directly on YouTube.
